Proceed out of St. Austell via South Street down to the A390 and across the road as signposted to Megavissey. Continue along this road passing through London Apprentice and Pentewan on the left. Proceed to the top of the hill where there is a crossroads and turn right. Continue along this road passing the Lost Gardens of Heligan on the left and into Gorran and continue through into Gorran Haven. Proceed down Bell Lane and into Canton Street where Stonesthrow Cottage can be found on the left just before the village store.
